Here's What Comfort Keepers is Doing to Keep Clients and Caregivers Safe during COVID-19
During this time of crisis when staying at home and being socially distanced is crucial, our Caregivers can make sure your loved one has everything they need. Rest assured that our care providers are trained in infection control and have necessary supplies to reduce your loved one’s risk of community-wide exposure to COVID-19.
We are staying up-to-date on all NYS Department of Health and Erie County guidelines. Additionally, we have implemented a process to reassure both our Clients and Caregivers that their health is our top priority.
- Caregivers and family members must wear facemasks during each and every visit
- Families should limit the amount of visitors at the home
- Caregivers, Clients, and families are screened weekly regarding COVID-19 exposure and/or symptoms
Caregivers cannot work unless all weekly COVID questions are negative. If by chance one of our Caregivers is sick for another reason, they will not work until fully healthy. We would never put our Clients or Caregivers health at risk due to COVID or any other illness.
Guidelines are constantly changing and we continue to practice our unique Interactive Caregiving approach whenever safe and possible. This allows us to keep our Clients engaged and provide a sense of normalcy.
Wear a mask, wash your hands, practice social distancing 6 feet apart. Stay Safe and Healthy!
