About Our Home Health Care Services in St. Louis, MO
The St. Louis, MO Comfort Keepers franchise began service in early 2012, making Comfort Keepers’ highly effective brand of in-home elder care and home health care services available to seniors and their families in St. Louis, the greater St. Louis area and the St. Louis Metro area.
Fred Henry founded the St. Louis office, inspired by how Comfort Keepers® of Memphis helped his aunt and uncle. When his uncle was in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s disease, Fred’s aunt hired a driver to take him back and forth to his trucking company office. Fred came to discover that the driver was a Comfort Keepers caregiver and companion, who also took his uncle to the movies and on errands and provided other home health care services.
This opened Fred’s eyes to the possibilities of elder care in light of our nation’s rapidly growing population of older adults who, with varying degrees of assistance depending on their specific needs, can continue living safe, rewarding, independent lives at home. Fred came to see that for a growing number of seniors, in-home elder care by Comfort Keepers of St. Louis, MO is a practical, life enriching alternative to facility-based senior care such as assisted living and nursing homes.
Now Fred and the managers of the St. Louis Comfort Keepers franchise coordinate their team of professional, compassionate caregivers – Comfort Keepers – to enrich the lives of seniors and support their families in greater St. Louis. They take great care in selecting caregivers who have a genuine concern for the well-being of seniors. To the people they hire, elder care service is much more than a job. It is their calling in life.
These special elder care providers benefit their clients and their families by providing Comfort Keepers’ unique brand of in-home senior care – Interactive Caregiving™ – which surpasses other home care brands in promoting seniors’ quality of life as it focuses on keeping seniors as active as possible – physically, mentally and socially. The result is strengthened independence and improved health and well-being.
