Home Care in Levittown, Pennsylvania

Comfort Keepers® of Levittown, Pennsylvania, provides a wide range of supportive in-home services that make it possible for seniors to maintain an independent lifestyle where they most want to be: in the comfort of their own home. We offer a distinctive brand of in-home elder care that helps seniors live life to the fullest, promoting their well-being, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Our professional, compassionate caregivers—we call them Comfort Keepers—partner with our clients’ families, helping them provide a safe, enriching in-home environment for their loved ones. Comfort Keepers enrich the lives of their clients as they help them stay actively engaged in activities they enjoy. We work with our clients and families to create a plan of care that meets their specific needs—from as few as four hours of service a week to full-time, 24/7 care.

The Comfort Keepers Difference

You’ll find that the quality of Comfort Keepers care surpasses that of other in-home senior care providers in these significant ways:

  • Our gifted caregivers. Comfort Keepers carefully selects caregivers who demonstrate a sincere desire to help seniors live happily, safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes. They consider senior caregiving their calling in life. To them, it’s far more than a job.

Comfort Keepers has developed a thorough screening process to select people who possess the special qualifications to be a Comfort Keeper. We start the screening with a telephone interview, then invite top prospects for an in-person interview. In addition, all candidates must complete fingerprinting and background checks and pass this final criterion: Would we feel at ease assigning this person to be the caregiver of one of our loved ones?

Before they begin caring for clients, our Comfort Keepers complete extensive training in caregiving and the Comfort Keepers brand of care. They also complete ongoing training throughout their Comfort Keepers career.

  • Interactive Caregiving™.  This is Comfort Keepers’ special brand of caregiving—a style of care you won’t find with other in-home care providers. Our Comfort Keepers provide their clients opportunities to take an active—not passive—role in the companionship and personal care services they are being provided. Comfort Keepers also give their clients opportunities to engage in activities that bring them enjoyment and add meaning to their life.  Examples include taking neighborhood walks, delving into hobbies, solving puzzles and playing games, reminiscing about favorite times in life, and going places, such as visiting friends, shopping, or taking in a museum or concert.

Research has proven that active living—which exercises the mind and body—improves the health of seniors and their quality of life and independence.

  • Matching clients and caregivers. We enhance the effectiveness of Comfort Keepers care through our simple, but important, practice of matching up clients and caregivers based on their personalities, interests, care needs and special caregiving skills. Good matches lead to optimal caregiving outcomes.
