Services of Comfort Keepers

Comfort Keepers partners with seniors and their families in developing a plan of in-home care tailored to their specific needs. Services can be scheduled from as few as four hours a week to full-time, 24/7 care:

• Companionship Care, such as conversation, meal preparation and light housekeeping, help with grooming and dressing, medication reminders and help with errands and transportation.
• Personal Care, which may include assistance with maintaining personal hygiene, such as showering and bathing, skin care, incontinence care, safe transfers in and out of bed or chairs, help with feeding and assistance with mobility in and out of the home.
• SafetyChoice™ by Comfort Keepers technology solutions, which help keep seniors safe when home alone between a caregiver’s visits. These devices, which are monitored around the clock by Comfort Keepers’ monitoring center, include a Medical Management System (MMS) and a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS).  The MMS reminds seniors to take medication on time and sends out an alert when a dose is missed. The PERS is designed to allow seniors to call for help with the push of a button in the event of a fall or illness.
• Hospice Support provides in-home caregiving services to enhance comfort and quality of life for patients who are receiving hospice nursing care at home.
• Post-Hospital Care and Support helps Comfort Keepers clients recuperate at home after a hospital stay for surgery or treatment of an illness or injury.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care helps ensure the safety, wellness and quality life of persons with dementia who are being cared for at home.
