Meet Our Comfort Keepers®
Comfort Keepers are the compassionate people who deliver Comfort Keepers’ premier brand of in-home caregiving. They enrich the lives of seniors and other adults as they help them live safely, happily and independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Comfort Keepers are professional and well trained. Our Comfort Keepers must pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They’re bonded, insured and covered by Workers' Compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families—and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes.
What truly sets them above other in-home caregivers, however, is their natural gift for caring for others. They have a heart for caregiving—and we have a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify them from those less devoted. In addition to the practical competence that is necessary to do the job, each employee must pass a “what would our Mom say" test. Before an individual is allowed to come into your home, Carrie and Scott ask this simple question: "Is this somebody I would want in my own mother's home?" Only when a gentle and kind spirit is sensed, when the answer is an unequivocal “yes,” do they become a Comfort Keeper.
To achieve the most favorable outcome for each Comfort Keepers client, we carefully match Comfort Keepers and clients whose personalities and interests—as well as skills and needs—mesh well. This forms the basis of strong, healthful relationships.
