About Us

Welcome! I’m Linda Schaffer, Owner of the local Comfort Keepers office serving the East Mountains, Southeast Heights of Albuquerque and Valencia County. As a Certified Senior Advisor, I understand the unique needs of seniors and their strong desire to remain independent in their own homes. I have a special passion for the care of others having experienced first-hand the loss of independence due to medical conditions and debilitating chronic illness in my family.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of our clients as we enable them to maintain the highest possible level of independent living in their own home for as long as possible.

A thorough in home assessment is conducted to develop a customized care plan. The special people who deliver our unique brand of in-home care, who we call Comfort Keepers, are carefully selected and pass an 11 point screening process including the National Criminal Database Search. Each Comfort Keeper receives comprehensive classroom, hands on and online training. And continuous learning is extremely important to deliver the highest level of compassionate and professional care.
