There are two basic types of care that Comfort Keepers provides. These are companion care and personal care.
Companion care is help with meal preparation, transportation, companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and medication reminders.
Personal care is help with what are commonly referred to as activities of daily living, which include grooming, dressing, eating, transferring (i.e. from bed to chair), toileting, and ambulating (i.e. moving around, as opposed to being bedridden).
