Welcome to Comfort Keepers® of Natick, Massachusetts
Let me introduce myself to you. I’m Don True and I’m the owner of Comfort Keepers Natick. Legally it’s called Syleritor, LLC dba Comfort Keepers, Natick.“Syl” for Sylvia, my wife, “Eri” for Erica, the daughter I met, often called a step-daughter, “Tor” for Victoria, the daughter I made (self explanatory). The name keeps them happy, the LLC keeps my accountant happy.
I let you know more about me in hopes that it makes you feel more comfortable talking about you and the situation you’re calling about. I know the experience of finding a quality caregiver very well. I was the person responsible for coordinating my mother’s care at home while she was ill. There were a lot of issues going on; some of which I’m sure you’re facing, and some I hope you don’t. It’s also important to know that the last eight months of her life were spent in a skilled nursing facility that took amazing care of her.
I took that experience coupled with my six years in management and decided that, above the Comfort Keeper’s Mission Statement, my local company would attempt to eliminate the difficulties people face as they look for quality in-home care.
One of the key components in my hiring criteria is in communication and interpersonal skills; do the candidates speak clearly, do they listen well, do they smile naturally, are they nice, are they caring, are they comfortable to be around? If I’m not comfortable with them and don’t feel entirely comfortable with the fact that they’ll be taking care of me, I know you won’t be comfortable either.
So you know it’s not all based on “feel” there are employment and reference checks, criminal background checks (required of all licensed MA home care companies), done on all staff prior to their start date. By the way, these are the same steps that the Comfort Keepers Corporation takes before it selects potential business owners.
Our caregivers are our employees - not independent contractors. This means you will not have any worries about worker’s compensation issues, payroll taxpayments, unemployment insurance, and liability insurance. I have a separate liability insurance policy that allows my employees to provide transportation for clients to any place in the United States. We also bond and insure our employees to protect you against any unforeseen circumstance.
To reach me directly, call my cell at a time that’s convenient for you. It may be after your work hours, but it won’t be after mine – days, nights, weekends – it’s all the same. My cell is 508-254-9649, my office line is 508-651-1020. You’ll probably have more difficult poblems facing you than home care and if you feel comfortable in discussing those, I may be able to point you in a direction that helps. Talk with me and ask me anything that comes to your mind. Above all, I’m very interested in making sure you get the help you need. Thank you for your time. It’s appreciated.

Seniors May Eat Less, But They Need To Ensure Good Nutrition
As seniors age they typically become less active and their metabolisms slow. As a result, they require fewer calories. But their need for essential, health-promoting vitamins and minerals does not decline. If anything, it increases.

Eat Seasonally for Maximum Nutrition
No matter where we live, we expect to find a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables year-round in supermarket produce sections. But much of it has to travel great distances to get there. And in doing so, it loses freshness, taste and nutrients.
