Jim and Stephanie Nickerson became owners of their first Comfort Keepers business in December of 1999. The Nickersons opened their Ames office in 2006 and in 2007 the decision was made to relocate the office to Marshalltown, IA. Another office was added in Newton, IA in 2009. The Nickersons have been pleased to see that so many seniors were able to remain in their own homes with help from Comfort Keepers. Their goal is to be the leading in-home care provider in the area, providing nothing but excellence to the clients they serve.
