In most cases, we can arrange for one of our compassionate, gifted caregivers—Comfort Keepers—to begin serving you within 24 hours of your call for assistance.
Through the in-home assessment we are able to match clients with the most appropriate Comfort Keeper, based on personality, interests, a client’s care needs and the Comfort Keeper’s special skills and training. From experience we know that a good match leads to an excellent client-caregiver relationship, which helps assure optimal outcomes for Comfort Keepers clients.
To meet varied elder care needs, we maintain a diverse selection of caregivers. And in those cases when your primary Comfort Keeper is on vacation, becomes ill or has an emergency, we schedule a qualified substitute to provide uninterrupted service.

Supporting Families
We provide senior care in partnership with our clients’ families. We allow families to be as involved in their loved one’s care as their circumstances allow. For family members who are active caregivers, we offer respite care. That is, we schedule a Comfort Keeper to come into the home as needed to provide the family caregiver opportunities to get needed rest, go to work or take care of other responsibilities.
And no matter how involved a family may be in their loved one’s care, Comfort Keepers keeps the lines of communication open to provide updates on the client’s care and any concerns we may have, such as a perceived need to revise the care plan.
Comfort Keeper Services
Our full range of services can be tailored to meet each client’s requirements for in-home care, from two hours a week to 24/7 care. Our services include:
- Personal Care, to preserve and promote our clients’ quality of life and dignity. These include skin care and hygiene assistance, incontinence and toileting care, feeding assistance, mobility, and transferring and positioning.
- Companionship Care, which provides seniors the comforting company of a caregiver, who also helps with needed household tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, help with dressing and grooming, medication reminders, errands and incidental transportation.
- SafetyChoice® Technology Solutions ensure the security and safety of seniors when caregivers are not at home. These electronic devices are monitored around the clock at Comfort Keepers’ monitoring center. These devices include a personal emergency response system, which allows seniors to call for help simply by pushing a button; a fall detector, which is clipped to a client’s clothing and transmits a signal for help in the event of a fall; and a medication management system, which reminds seniors to take their medications.
- Post-Hospital Care and Support helps seniors and other client gain strength at home following a hospital admission for surgery or care of an illness or injury.
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care services provided by specially trained Comfort Keepers to support families and help make home a safe and beneficial place for people at various stages of dementia.
- Hospice Care Support, provided by Comfort Keepers in partnership with hospice nurses, enhances the quality of life, comfort and dignity of terminally ill patients.
- Parkinson’s Care, provided by specially-trained Comfort Keepers who support families caring for a loved one with this condition.
To meet the changing and transitional needs of seniors, Comfort Keepers works in partnership with other senior care providers, including nursing homes, hospitals, hospice programs, home health agencies, assisted living facilities and more.
