Our experience is that preparing to care for an aging parent is a time-consuming, confusing, and often frustrating process. Often, the family is thrust into finding care options due to a sudden injury, illness or hospital stay. This, in turn, creates burdens and stress on the family. Comfort Keepers can alleviate this frustration by talking with you and your family about the best options for your loved ones. In our Family Education Center, we share with you the knowledge we have gained through more than a decade of service to seniors and their loved ones. You will find valuable information on senior living options, including in-home care. We also offer suggestions on how to start talking with a loved one about his or her needs and care preferences, as well as financial and legal matters to consider in your planning. And family caregivers: be sure to read our recommendations on how to take care of your own needs. Your health and well-being are important too!
