Chad McGlothlin, owner of the Southern Pines Comfort Keepers office, grew up in close proximity to both sets of grandparents. He spent a considerable portion of his childhood in the company of these wonderful people. Their guidance, spiritual, and emotional influences helped build the foundation for his character. Thus, he and his company maintain a great respect for the elderly and the gifts they bring to the world.

As Chad’s grandparents aged and began requiring assistance with chores that once were routine, it became obvious that eventually a totally independent lifestyle would not be possible. However, both sets of grandparents had lived in their respective homes for years and each cherished their surroundings. While Chad no longer lives in the area he grew up in, fortunately his parents remain in close proximity to his grandparents and are able to assist whenever possible. Nevertheless, they both lead busy lives and the ability to be available at all hours is not always feasible.

Chad understands that his family situation is not unlike what many other families are experiencing. Chad’s desire to care for seniors and allow them to remain independent in the comfort of their own home brought him to Comfort Keepers.
