About Our Raleigh Senior Care Office
Bob and Linda Marshall have owned the Raleigh, N.C., Comfort Keepers® office since 2004. They were drawn to in-home care because it appeals to their desire to provide local seniors the genuine caring service they would want for their own parents and grandparents. And they were drawn specifically to Comfort Keepers because of its reputation as a leading provider of in-home care.
By owning and operating a Comfort Keepers, Bob and Linda are able to make a positive difference in the lives of others by delivering compassionate and dependable in-home elder care. More than ever seniors want to continue living independently at home for as long as possible, and Bob and Linda are thankful that they—and their caregivers—can help them realize seniors’ wishes.
What Makes Our Senior Caregivers Special
The most significant difference in Comfort Keepers’ brand of non-medical in-home care is the people who deliver the care—our Comfort Keepers. We select only caregivers who are gifted with a natural, caring spirit, patience, and the desire to help seniors maintain independence. And more importantly, we hire only individuals we would be comfortable sending to care for our own parents.
To help us find the best caregivers, we have developed a thorough screening process. It begins with a phone interview to narrow the search and continues with a face to face interviewing, followed by background and reference checks.
Once hired, our Comfort Keepers complete an extensive orientation and a wide range of in-depth training, including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia related conditions. To maintain their high level of home care skills our Comfort Keepers also complete continuing training and evaluation by our on-staff registered nurse.
