Comfort Keepers®, the leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults, began operations in Middle Georgia in the summer of 2004.  David Wells, owner of the Milledgeville Comfort Keepers office, had discovered a lack of reliable professional in-home services when he began looking for care for his 86-year old mother-in-law.  He and his wife, Elizabeth, decided the best way to find the high quality of care they demanded was to start a service with the standards embodied in the Comfort Keepers model. 

Our Comfort Keepers are dedicated to providing in-home care that enriches our clients' lives and helps them maintain the highest possible level of independent living.  We search for the best caregivers in the area and thoroughly screen them with criminal background, driving records, and job reference checks.  As employees of Comfort Keepers, our caregivers are supervised and trained, and they are insured, bonded and covered by Workers Compensation insurance.
