Our Comfort Keepers Are Carefully Selected and Trained
Comfort Keepers are the key to our success in effective in-home care. That’s why we have developed a thorough screening, interviewing, orientation and training process to select and prepare them to serve our clients. The process includes extensive local and national criminal background checks and multiple interviews. To provide our clients and their families further peace of mind, our Comfort Keepers are bonded and covered by Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
We like to find caregivers who have already had professional training and experience, such as home health aides or nursing, and we put an emphasis on finding individuals who naturally put others’ needs first. Our Comfort Keepers complete our own specialized training, including annual coursework that equips them to maintain and enhance their caregiving skills.
As a further assurance to clients and families of our reliability and responsiveness, we use a computerized scheduling and tracking system that monitors caregivers as they arrive and leave clients’ homes.

Whether you or a loved one are struggling with disabilities, Alzheimer’s/dementia, or some other difficult situation, Comfort Keepers tailors a senior care plan specific to each client and family’s needs. Because clients’ circumstances and needs change over time, we regularly review these plans and work with the client and family to modify them when needed. Comfort Keepers Services
Comfort Keepers of Fullerton Towers, California, offers companionship, homemaking, personal care and other services, including:
- Comfort Keepers’ SafetyChoice® Technology Solutions. During hours when family caregivers or Comfort Keepers aren’t in the house, these devices help watch over clients and keep them safe. These include a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), which alerts help at the touch of a button 24 hours a day; PERS accessories, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and wireless floor mats, which monitor the movement of clients such as those who wander due to dementia; and a Medication Management System, which reminds clients to take medications, dispenses the drugs as prescribed and alerts caregivers if a dose is not taken.
- Alzheimer’s/Dementia care. These services are provided by Comfort Keepers who have completed special training.
- Post-Hospital Care and Support. This assists clients with the activities of daily living as they recover at home from injury, illness or surgery.
