  About 90% of Comfort Keepers are certified nursing assistants. We provide extensive training to all new Comfort Keepers, regardless of their experience, to prepare them for Comfort Keepers’ special brand of care. Our caregivers also complete continuing training every year.
  
  Our caregivers go out of their way for clients.  For instance, as a hurricane approached our area, two of our Comfort Keepers drove more than 100 miles and stayed overnight the night before the bad weather was scheduled to hit to care for an Alzheimer’s client who otherwise would have been alone during the storm.
• Interactive Caregiving^®: Through Comfort Keepers’ distinctive brand of caregiving, Interactive Caregiving^®, our caregivers have their clients assist with their own care—as much as they are able. They also encourage their clients to participate in a wide variety of activities that keep them physically, mentally and socially engaged and living life to the fullest. Partnering with Families

• Companionship Care, which combines the companionship of a caregiver with household services, such as light housekeeping, laundry, dressing and grooming assistance, medication management, transportation and errands.
