About Us
John Nelson established Comfort Keepers of North Olmsted in 2007, fulfilling his and his wife’s desire to own a business that would enable them to contribute positively to the quality of life in their community. John chose in-home elder care after he saw the tremendous difference home care and hospice care made in his grandfather’s life.
After comparing elder care franchises, the Nelsons found that Comfort Keepers was the best fit in terms of its style of care and concern for hiring people who are skilled and have a natural gift and desire to provide elder care.
We Support Families
Comfort Keepers provides families the freedom to be as involved in their loved one’s care as they desire and are able. We support families who take an active role in their loved one’s care through our respite care services. Respite care provides a Comfort Keeper who comes into the home when needed to allow a family caregiver to take time off to rest and re-energize or attend to other responsibilities.
For families who live far away from their loved one and are unable to provide care themselves, our Comfort Keepers provide peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands.
And no matter how involved a family is in day-to-day caregiving, Comfort Keepers maintains communication, keeping families informed about their loved ones’ care and status.
