Metro West Homecare Solutions
We’re the Leader in In-home Care
With the help of the Comfort Keepers® office of Worcester, Framingham, Milford and surrounding Metro West areas, families can be involved as much in their loved one’s in-home care as they wish—or are able. Partnering with families, we can schedule as few as three hours of in-home care a week to full-time elder care. But no matter the degree of a family’s direct involvement, we keep families fully informed about their loved one’s senior care through personal communication and online, password-protected access to the latest care updates.
To help you discover if Comfort Keepers is the best choice for your loved one and family, we offer free in-home care assessments. These assessments help us learn your specific needs and enable us to create a customized plan of home care. An assessment also helps us match a client with the most appropriate and compatible Comfort Keeper, based on personality, care needs, location, and interests that are identified on client and caregiver profile questionnaires. Good client-caregiver matches are a key to Comfort Keepers’ success.
Once we begin serving a client and family, we regularly review the plan of homecare to make sure it is effective and to revise the plan to address changing needs. We have built an extensive referral network and partnerships with other senior and health care providers, giving us the flexibility to provide families and their loved ones a total care solution that enhances their quality of life—as life changes. This network includes rehabilitation programs, adult day care, home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice.
Comfort Keepers In-Home Services
Our Comfort Keepers deliver the following types of services, which can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs:
- Companionship Care, including conversation, meal preparation and light housekeeping, medication reminders, standby help with dressing and grooming, and transportation and errands.
- Personal Care, such as hands-on assistance with bathing or showering, hair and skin care, shaving, feeding, toileting and incontinence care, and help with mobility.
- Technology Devices that complement a senior’s care and promote their health and safety when professional or family caregivers are not available. These include an emergency response system that seniors can use to call for help with the push of a button, and a medication management system that reminds seniors to take their medicine.
- Post-Hospital Care and Support to help seniors and other adults when they return home from the hospital following surgery, injury or illness.
- Stroke Recovery for seniors and other adults who need help with the activities of daily living as they regain strength and function.
- Alzheimer’s and Memory Care provided by Comfort Keepers who are specially trained in promoting the quality of life of persons diagnosed with dementia.
- Hospice Care supported by Comfort Keepers’ companionship and personal care services. Specially trained Comfort Keepers work in partnership with nurses from hospice care providers.
