Through our cooperative partnerships we provide clients a complete senior care solution and seamless transitions—for instance, from admission to a nursing home for post-hospital rehabilitation, to a return home.

We interview candidates, not once, but three times—once by phone and twice in person. After that, potential Comfort Keepers complete orientation and pre-employment training.

Those who earn the title Comfort Keeper go on to receive additional training before they care for clients. And every year, to maintain excellence, each Comfort Keeper completes 12 hours of courses. Examples of classes include senior nutrition, mobility and ambulation, and Interactive Caregiving™. (Interactive Caregiving™ is Comfort Keepers’ distinctive brand of senior care that engages clients physically, mentally and socially for optimal quality of life.)

For the peace-of-mind and security of our clients and their families, our Comfort Keepers candidates complete extensive background checks—local and national criminal checks. And after they are hired, our Comfort Keepers undergo background checks twice a year. In addition, our Comfort Keepers are bonded, insured and covered by Workers’ compensation.

Our advanced scheduling and tracking system further ensures clients and families dependable, quality service by notifying management each time a Comfort Keeper arrives at and departs a client’s home.

Medication reminders to make certain clients remember to take medicine for health maintenance.
