Helen and Lee opened their first office in October 2002 which covers Lexington, Nicholasville and Wilmore. They opened their second office in December 2005 which serves Franklin, Anderson, Bourbon, Woodford, Scott, and Mercer counties. Prior to purchasing their Comfort Keepers franchises, Helen worked for an evangelistic association ministry for more than 27 years.

Joy holds a Masters Degree from Kent School of Social Work obtained in 1990, and has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, Home Health, and individualized assessments related to geriatric case management. Joy accepted a position with Comfort Keepers in 2010 as our Family Care Coordinator. She brings to this position years of education, experience and a personal knowledge of the demands faced by family members in providing care to their loved ones.

Sandy earned a BA in Anthropology from Eastern Kentucky University. She has 25 years experience in bookkeeping, office administration and several years of grant writing experience. She has worked in various fields including local government, engineering and grant writing.

June worked for Ashland Oil as IT Analyst for 28 yrs with financial systems. After retiring in 2007, June began work for Comfort Keepers in February of 2008.

Claudia holds a B.A. in History from Kentucky State University. She has 5 years of advanced computer software training. She has previous caregiver experience with mentally handicapped adults. Claudia has been with Comfort Keepers since May of 2008.

Bonnie served as Area Manager of a staffing agency employing 1,530 individuals. She later went on to purchase the company and operate it successfully for 8 years before retirement. Bonnie has been with Comfort Keepers since November of 2008.

Judy is a Licensed Practical Nurse, with years of experience in the geriatric field. She also trained and worked as a telephone reporter for Dodge Reports and as a realtor. She started with Comfort Keepers part time as a caregiver in 2008 before working as the Receptionist/Intake Coordinator and Office Manager Assistant in June 2011. In the past 22 years Judy volunteered extensively with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Stonewall Community Association and her church. Working in leadership roles for these organizations and volunteer work in the community.

Teresa, a Licensed Insurance Agent, worked in the insurance business for thirty years handling customer relations and IT services. During this time she was actively involved in the Bluegrass Association of Insurance Women, serving on many committees and functions for the organization. She volunteered over twenty years in the community; going on mission trips, working for God's Pantry, and serving other various organizations while raising a family. She served as treasurer for seven years and continues to serve faithfully in other areas for her church.

Dan taught high school Spanish for 28 years. He currently teaches Spanish part time at Asbury College. In 2006, he started with Comfort Keepers as a caregiver and in January 2011, he began assisting with scheduling and interviewing in our Human Resource department.
