Comfort Keepers® is widely recognized as the leading provider of quality in-home care to seniors and other clients who need help with the activities of daily living. Our goal is to enrich the lives of our clients as we enable them to maintain the highest possible level of independent living in their own home for as long as possible.

Our "Personal " Story

We opened our first Comfort Keepers office in October 2002. We learned about Comfort Keepers from "Entrepeneur" magazine. While Lee and I worked for a large retail provider involved in property managment, I picked up the magazine during out trip. To this day, I believe it was "divine intervention" that would change our lives forever. For 8 months, I read about Comfort Keepers and the services they provide as well as their mission statement. We did not know how we could do this work and we didn't have the money. Yet everyday something tugged at my heart. Lee said, "Helen, if Iyou feel that strongly about this, then we should learn more. Lee and I traveled to Dayton, Ohio and spent time learning more about Comfort Keepers.
 
In December 2005, we purchased our second franchise which serves Franklin, Anderson, Bourbon, Woodford, Scott, and Mercer counties. Eight years later, we are still passionate about the services we provide in our communities. It is our belief God gave us the privilege of being involved in this great work of touching the lives of those in need and making a difference. We are "Angels On Call". Everyone needs an angel and we are always on call. A live voice answers our phones 24/7!! We are available not only to meet the needs of our existing clients and their family members, but just as importantly we are quickly available to meet urgent, emergency needs of a sudden crisis or situation of a loved one.
 
It is our desire to bring comfort and dignity to those in need of assistance with daily living needs in the privacy of their own home. After all, the Mission Statement of Comfort Keepers  that changed our livesis: To provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.....
