At Comfort Keepers, nothing is more important than helping people live full, independent and dignified lives within the comfort of their own homes. Comfort Keepers is dedicated to providing in-home care that enriches our clients' lives and helps them maintain the highest possible level of independent living.

Comfort Keepers provide you or a loved one in-home assistance that may include:

The Burbank Comfort Keepers office was established in 2002 by Dorothy Dougherty.  She had experienced the need for care in the home with her mother in the early 1990s and later with her father in the late 1990s. She discovered how difficult it was to manage their care from long distance.  There were many instances where caregivers hired privately and through registries simply didn't show up or were absent for myriad reasons. It would have made a huge difference if there had been an agency like Comfort Keepers available to provide trustworthy and skilled caregivers, to monitor her father's needs, to keep her informed, and to send replacements if the regular caregiver was absent. It would have made her father's slow recovery from a brain injury go much smoother with less stress for everyone.  These experiences led Dorothy to open a Comfort Keepers office so that she could help make life easier for families and elderly people.  The Burbank Comfort Keepers prides itself on providing exceptional care and customer service to its clients by hiring skilled, respectful, and trustworthy caregivers.
