In-Home Care for Seniors of Montgomery County, sylvania
Home care and senior care services for the elderly, respite for spouses of those suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease and other assisted living type services in privacy of the home or facility. Comfort Keepers provide you or a loved one in-home home health care and assistance that may include:
- Companionship - often provided for clients suffering from memory impairment, respite includes taking place of spouse who needs to leave home
- Meal preparation, Light housekeeping and Laundry
- Transportation to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, to adult daycare, other commitments
- In-home safety technology - Personal Emergency Alert/medical alarm for when a loved one cannot dial a phone after fall or in an emergency
- Personal Care including showering, bathing and incontinence care
- Services are hourly or live in - please call for minimum visit hours, no visit frequency required nor length of service time required (see below).
Comfort Keepers is licensed by the state of PA to provide non-medical personal care and companionship services in several counties including Montgomery County, PA. In the state of PA, non-medical home care services are not covered by traditional Medicare plans or insurances such as Aetna, Bravo or Keystone 65. Comfort Keepers, a non-medical provider of services accepts the following forms of payments:
Private Pay - services are hourly or live in, please call us for rates and for visit minimum hours. There is no requirement on the frequency of visits - a client does not have to agree to have services every day, services can be as minimal as once a year, once a month or three or four times a day. There is no requirement on length of time serviced so no client ever agrees to one month of service, one year or any length of service.
Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services - Comfort Keepers is a proud provider of in-home services To have Comfort Keepers provide your in-home services paid for by MCAAS, you must choose Comfort Keepers off the provider list. To read more about MCAAS services click HERE. If your loved one lives in Delaware County, please contact the County Offices Services for the Aging (COSA) at 610-490-1300 or click HERE. For Chester County's Department of Aging, click HERE. At the time of the assessment of your loved one, the Department of Aging staff may hand you a list of providers and ask you to choose your in-home provider, if you want Comfort Keepers to provide you with employed caregivers who have background checks, are bonded and insured and are trained and if you want the same quality of care you would receive if you were privately paying, please tell the assessor you are choosing Comfort Keepers King of Prussia to provide your care.
Long Term Care Insurance - Comfort Keepers accepts LTC insurance reimbursements from companies such as Genworth, John Hancock, Metlife and other LTC companies. Please contact us at kingofprussia@comfortkeepers.com or 610-783-7878 to ask about your policy.
