How Interactive Caregiving™ Helps Keep People Happier, Healthier and at Home: Keeping individuals engaged in life mentally, emotionally, physically and socially-----can make a difference in their wellbeing. At Comfort Keepers, we call this Interactive Caregiving. It gives our clients a more healthy and meaningful quality of life. Study after study shows that active and mentally stimulated elders enjoy a better quality of life and physical wellbeing. Transforming daily activities into interactive activities helps keep people strong and improves their health and outlook on life and reduces the risks for injury, depression and symptoms of dementia.

QUALITY IS OUR WATCHWORD

Comfort Keepers has a Medical Director (Richard Hendricks, MD) and a Registered Nurse who is board certified in geriatric nursing. Two staff are Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) and members of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. All caregivers are trained in a core curriculum prior to providing any service in the home. They are also required to take 12 hours of continuing education each year. Caregivers have received specialized training in memory care by the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Association. Comfort Keepers is accredited by Shield Accreditation, is a member of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA), the Better Business Bureau and numerous Chambers of Commerce.

Ask us about our Ten Point Promise and our Peace of Mind Guarantee.

Comfort Keepers is a world leader in providing dependable and compassionate in-home care to seniors, those recovering from illness and/or injury, and adults of all ages who simply need assistance in their home. At Comfort Keepers, the main reasons for our high quality of care are directly due to the high quality of caregivers we employ. No caregiver comes into your home without being trained. Each year, all our caregivers are required to take continuing education. Numerous background checks are performed on all potential caregivers and once they pass a comprehensive screening, they are insured and bonded. We only hire caregivers that we feel comfortable caring for our own loved ones. In addition, we feel strongly that it is our job to get to know our clients and find the best possible caregiver match that will result in lifelong friendships.

Our services range from personal cares (see above) to a variety of companion/homemaker service. Because our services are available on an hourly, weekly, or monthly basis, our clients are able to choose the services they need and we can design a package to fit most budgets. If you know of someone who could benefit from our services, please feel free to have them contact us at 608-442-1898 to arrange for a FREE home visit. During the visit, one of our Client Care Coordinator will be able to discuss further how Comfort Keepers can best help (with no obligations).
