Our Senior Care Services

Comfort Keepers^® of Fort Wayne, Indiana, provides senior citizens and other adults high quality, compassionate in-home care that enables them to live independently in the comfort of home, safely and happily, for as long as possible. We tailor senior care services to meet each individual’s specific needs, scheduling from just a couple of hours of care a week to full-time, 24/7 elder care.

We offer families a free in-home assessment to help discover whether Comfort Keepers is the ideal at-home care solution for them. Brenda Tunin, R.N. and Director of Client Care will come out and from her assessment we can develop a customized home care plan as well as learn as much as possible about the client’s needs, so our Comfort Keepers will be prepared to help them from the first day of service.

The assessment also gives us the information needed to help make a good match of client and caregiver, based on their personalities, interests and care needs. We can usually place a highly qualified Comfort Keeper in your home within 24 hours of your request.

We allow families the opportunity to choose how involved they wish to be in their loved one’s day-to-day care. Whatever their decision, we maintain excellent communication with families to keep them fully informed on their loved one’s senior care and health status.

You can call our office any time, around the clock, to find out about our in-home senior care services, ask a question, request a change in service or share a concern. We look forward to helping you in any way we can. In addition to our Comfort Keepers our staff includes:

• Matt and Julia Anders, owners and co-general managers. Matt manages financial aspects of the business, while Julia is the creative force, directing marketing, hiring Comfort Keepers and meeting people and establishing referral relationships with other health and senior care providers, such as home health agencies, nursing homes, hospice, and assisted living facilities.
• Brenda Tunin, RN is our Director of Client Care. She’s a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience and she oversees every aspect of the care provided by our Comfort Keepers. Brenda does all the training for our Comfort Keepers including CPR and First Aide training.
• Holly Messman is our full-time scheduler, who keeps in contact with our Comfort Keepers so they are available when our clients need them and she stays in contact with our Clients to make sure they are happy!
• Our receptionist is Linda Smith who we lovingly refer to as our Director of First Impressions. Linda has been with our office since the beginning. She will celebrate her 9th year with us in October.
• Patricia Ansberry is our Billing and Payroll specialist and she does a fantastic job.
• Rosanne Klaehn- worked as our scheduler for years and like Linda, she has been with our office since the beginning. She is now semi-retired and works as a Comfort Keeper and she also assists Brenda with Client assessments and other office duties.
• And we can’t forget Beau our office dog. He’s responsible for office morale, conflict resolution, and increasing productivity!
