About Our Home Care

Since 2001, our home care franchise has enriched the lives of seniors and other adult clients with Comfort Keeper’s leading brand of in-home care. Our caregivers help clients with daily activities so that they can continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes.

After retiring from a successful career in the computer industry, Beverly and Russ Hinnershitz founded the franchise. They helped Bev’s parents through serious health issues, and discovered that many families do not have the benefit of the time and resources that they had to provide the care themselves.

Through Comfort Keepers they’ve made it their mission to help families provide for the needs of their elderly parents—with caring, well-trained caregivers at a reasonable rate.  In 2002, Dave Kendall joined the partnership, bringing the benefit of his many years of health care experience.

We are passionate about serving seniors. To advance the well-being of seniors in our community we serve on various boards that impact public welfare funding for older adults. We support many civic organizations and sponsor a wide array of events for senior service organizations.

The Comfort Keepers Difference

We have two primary purposes:

• We help seniors continue to live independently at home, safely, happily, healthily and as independently possible
• And we help adult children effectively and lovingly provide for the care of their aging parents, while they continue to manage life’s other responsibilities at work, home and in the community

We can readily help families whenever a loved one begins to have difficulty taking care of household or personal care tasks. We’re prepared to come to a senior’s or family’s aid at a moment’s notice. We answer our phones 24/7 to offer new and current clients timely service, to assure their safety, peace of mind and independence at home.

We’ve become recognized as a trusted senior partner, volunteering our time and sponsoring programs and events that advance the interests of seniors in our community.
