A Trusted Senior Care Resource

Regarded as a trusted provider of quality in-home senior care services, the Santa Clarita Comfort Keepers franchise also has earned recognition as a knowledgeable, go-to resource for valuable information on the full range of senior services available in the Santa Clarita Valley. This service furthers our mission to support families and seniors through the transitions of aging and help seniors achieve the highest quality of life.

To help connect clients to a full array of senior services they may need, Comfort Keepers works and partners with a wide range of organizations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice and home health care agencies. We also offer a range of home safety technology solutions, which includes personal safety options such as personal emergency response units and medication management systems.

Having earned a reputation in the community for always following through with quality in-home care, the Santa Clarita Comfort Keepers franchise receives many word-of-mouth referrals from a wide range of senior service providers.

And we stand apart from other in-home care providers for Comfort Keepers’ unique approach to in-home care, called Interactive Caregiving™. We involve our clients in their home care and offer them a mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, emotional support and social engagement that promotes their independence and quality of life.

In addition to providing homemaking and personal care services, our Comfort Keepers®—the name we give the special people who deliver Comfort Keepers’ special brand of caregiving—take walks with clients, work on puzzles with clients, engage in conversation, take clients to church or social events … all types of activities that are important to them and enrich their lives.

Numerous studies support the concept that this type of caregiving promotes the health and well-being of seniors.

Our Comfort Keepers®

Our Comfort Keepers are skilled at providing high quality in-home care services. But they have something to offer clients that no amount of training can provide: a spirit of compassion and an innate gift for helping others.

Prospective Comfort Keepers complete a personality profile to make certain they have this essential attribute. Our thorough screening process also includes extensive background checks.

Candidates complete orientation and training in a variety of areas, such as personal care and Alzheimer’s care, and must pass exams before becoming a Comfort Keeper. To keep their skills up-to-date, Comfort Keepers also complete ongoing home care training.

For our clients’ and their families’ peace of mind, we supervise, bond and insure our Comfort Keepers. In addition, we cover them with Workers’ Compensation.

Tailored Care

We are very flexible and easy to reach and work with. Comfort Keepers offers clients and their families a wide degree of service flexibility—from a minimum of four hours a week to full-time and any amount in between—whatever is needed to best serve each client. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and someone is always available to answer your calls.

We work with families to adjust services as needed to meet the changing needs of seniors and other clients.

We complete a thorough in-home assessment to determine your and your loved one’s needs, and we work with families to develop a care plan that is unique to each individual. We strive to provide the most appropriate level of service to maximize each client’s quality of life and independence, often partnering with outside senior care organizations such as home health care agencies, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

We interview new clients to get to know their interests, needs and concerns and match them with the most appropriate Comfort Keeper. We strive to match clients and Comfort Keepers whose personalities fit well to form the basis for an effective, beneficial relationship.
