Meet Our Comfort Keepers®
Comfort Keepers are the compassionate people who deliver Comfort Keepers’ premier brand of in-home caregiving. They enrich the lives of seniors and other adults as they help them live safely, happily and independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Comfort Keepers are professional and well trained. What truly sets them above other in-home caregivers, however, is their natural gift for caring for others. They have a heart for caregiving—and Comfort Keepers has a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify them from those less devoted.
Only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of care—and become Comfort Keepers. Our Comfort Keepers also pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. Also, they’re bonded, insured and covered by Workers' Compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families—and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes.
To achieve the most favorable outcome for each Comfort Keepers client, we carefully match Comfort Keepers and clients whose personalities and interests—as well as skills and needs—mesh well. This forms the basis of strong, healthful relationships.
Comfort Keepers work as trusted partners with family caregivers to provide their loved ones a complete in-home care solution to promote independent living.
With 6 billion human beings inhabiting our planet,
individuals sometimes feel insignificant and doubt that one person
can really make a difference in this world.
They obviously have never been a caregiver.
Comfort Keepers—making a difference!
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR JULY COMFORT KEEPER OF THE MONTH
RACHEL FOX
Congratulations to Care Giver Rachel Fox
Some of you will remember Rachel from the past two years when she helped out in the office during the summers. This year, Rachel joined the staff as a Care Giver. She has been cheerful, available, and adaptable to her client’s needs...even during the power outage and caring for some of the unpleasant issues that created at a particular client’s home.
Rachel will be returning to University of Illinois at Urbana soon but will continue care giving during her school breaks.
We are glad to have Rachel “Making a Difference!” in Rockford.
Congratulations to our
Comfort Keeper of the Quarter
Karen Aurand

Karen is deeply committed to her clients and Comfort Keepers. During the sever storms and flooding last summer Karen jumped right in to fill an early morning client shift when another caregiver was unable to get there. After trying several routes to find an open road, Karen was able to get to the client’s home and care for her before going on to her regular shifts. Thanks Karen for being a great part of the Comfort Keepers Team!
We are glad to have Karen onboard “Making a Difference!” in Freeport.
