Who We Are

Families choose Comfort Keepers for different reasons. For some, it is for extensive care. For others, we offer a much needed break or "respite care" for family members who regularly provide care. With over 700 franchised locations in the U.S, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, Comfort Keepers touches lives around the world and is the comforting solution for your loved one's in-home care.

Under the ownership of Lori Eberly, our local Comfort Keepers office has been serving Cabarrus, Davidson, Iredell, North Mecklenburg, and Rowan County since 2001. If you live outside of these areas, we encourage you to contact us and we will assist you in locating the office that would best be able to assist you. We have a caring and professional staff of over 200 in-home aides and CNA's that we refer to as Comfort Keepers. Comfort Keepers are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week to meet your needs. We also have a dedicated team of administrative staff available to assist you with your day to day questions and to arrange your service needs.

Lori Eberly, Owner - lorieberly@comfortkeepers.com Lori has both a bachelor's and master's degree in Health Administration. She has approximately 12 years of experience in long term care and finds the most reward in helping families to deal with the difficult challenges associated with caring for an aging loved one. Lori oversees the daily operations of Comfort Keepers and coordinates the sales and marketing efforts.

 

 

 

Andy Fortune, Operations Manager- andyfortune@comfortkeepers.com Andy has a Bachelor's degree in Gerontology from High Point University and has worked in long term care for over 20 years. Andy enjoys giving back to the community and finds great reward in working with seniors. Andy manages the day to day functions of Comfort Keepers office and oversees Client Care and Human Resources.

 

 

Patrice Gordon, Care Coordinator- patricegordon@comfortkeepers.com A former elementary school teacher, Patrice's personal experiences in caring for her own parents led her to a career with Comfort Keepers beginning in 2004. Patrice has a very personal interest in each and every Comfort Keepers client. Her compassion and dedication is evident the very first time you speak with her. Patrice coordinates all aspects of the client/caregiver relationship from beginning to end, including the initial client consultation and on-going reviews with the client and their family.

 Lorie Stogner, RN, Clinical Client Care Coordinator- loriestogner@comfortkeepers.com Lorie joined Comfort Keepers in April 2011 as the full-time Clinical Client Care Coordinator. Lorie has 18 years of experience in long term and community based care. We are very honored to have Lorie as part of our team. Lorie has worked for Rowan Regional Medical Center as a Hospice Case Manager, Community Alternatives Program Case Manager and Supervisor, and RN Supervisor for the hospital's in-home aide service. Lorie enjoys helping others and believes in "working hard to fulfill God's work". Lorie conducts client assessments, creates and updates the Plan of Care for our Personal Care clients and conducts caregiver training, supervisory visits, client assessments, and quarterly client reviews.

 

 

Pam Nonemaker, Office Manager- pamnonemaker@comfortkeepers.com Pam joined Comfort Keepers in 2007. Pam's organizational skills and attention to detail are what keeps things running smoothly on a daily basis. Pam assists with billing, payroll, human resources, and service inquires from potential clients for our Mooresville office.
 

 

 

 

Deborah Cross, Office Manager- deborahcross@comfortkeepers.com Deborah joined Comfort Keepers in June 2010 as our Sales Director for Rowan and Davidson County. Prior to Comfort Keepers, Deborah worked for six years with a local skilled nursing and assisted living facility. In January 2011 Deborah transitioned into the Office Manager role in our Salisbury office where she assists with human resources, coordination of payroll and billing information, and coordinates general processes of our main office.

 

                   

Tamatha Bailey, Human Resources- tamathabailey@comfortkeepers.com Tamatha joined Comfort Keepers in May 2011 as our Human Resources Generalist. Tamatha's knowledge of employment law as well as her dedication to clients and employees make her a great addition to our team.  Tamatha also has personal experience as a caregiver for her elderly father which enables her to relate well with our clients and caregiving staff. 

 

 

Steven Epps, Staffing Coordinator- stevenepps@comfortkeepers.com  As our Staffing Coordinator, Steven works closely with our clients and our Comfort Keepers to coordinate schedules and create matches that lead to long term client/caregiver relationships. We are very excited to have Steven on our team!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Ann Measmer, Sales and Marketing Coordinator-  annmeasmer@comfortkeepers.com  Ann first joined Comfort Keepers in 2008 as our community representative in Rowan, Cabarrus, and Davidson County. Ann returned to this role in January 2011. Ann's personal experience caring for her mother as she progressed through the stagesof Alzheimer's gives her a special passion and drive for working with seniors.

 

 

 Debbie Lindley, Client Care and Business Development Coordinator- debbielindley@comfortkeepers.com  Debbie joined Comfort Keepers in September 2011. Debbie recently completed her Master's in Health Administration and brings us over 15 years of Case Management experience. Debbie will be the face of Comfort Keepers in Iredell and Mecklenburg County, building and maintaining relationships within the community.
