Our Story:
Our owners, Aziz Selahi and Neda McGuire are a father/daughter team who are passionate about helping others. Aziz, being a senior himself, has a strong belief that older adults should be given the opportunity to remain home with quality care. Neda, who has many years experience in health care with a gerontology background, was excited to utilize her experience and combine it with her father's business acumen to serve this community.
Our office has been serving the Greater Fredericksburg area since 2001. and has clearly filled an increasing need in the market as the older population continues to grow at a rapid pace in the region. With family members either working or living far from their parents, taking care of a loved one can be very stressful and daunting. During such times, we have provided much relief and comfort to families in need. We feel very blessed that we have been given the opportunity to help families in so many different ways.
Our philosophy of community stewardship is of great importance to us. Our company was awarded the Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year Award in 2006 for leadership, nominated 7 consecutive times for the Chamber's Goodwill Award for community impact and given the North Star Award by Virginia’s Senior Navigator organization and was the first for-profit organization to receive this award. In 2009, our owner, Neda McGuire, was honored by the Girl Scouts of America for being a "Woman of Distinction". The award is given to women in the community for their leadership, being a role model to young women and their impact in the community.
