This process guarantees the highest quality of care for the clients, and helps Comfort Keepers identify any changes that may take place with each client’s needs.
- Initial phone contact with family member or client.
- In-Home visit conducted by Registered Nurse (RN)/owner helps Comfort Keepers meet the client’s needs. This is accomplished through a comprehensive assessment of the client’s environment, medical condition, and home safety. The result is a customized plan of care designed to meet each of the client’s needs.
- Introduction of Comfort Keeper caregiver.
- Call placed to client after the first shift.
- Friendly visit within the first month.
- Quarterly re-assessments and supervisory visits.

- Safety is a primary concern for everyone. Comfort Keepers Safety Choice Program can provide you, or your loved one, with monitoring devices that offer continuous coverage and peace-of-mind no matter what time of day.
Keeping our Client involved through Interactive Caregiving
- Comfort Keepers encourage client interaction and participation in order to maintain our client’s independence and dignity.
- One of the biggest fears of the elderly is loss of independence. Preserving the client’s dignity and respect by involving them heightens their level of confidence and allows them to sustain “control” over their environment.
- Interactive Caregiving increases their need to feel useful and important. Thus, creating a happy and productive home health experience.
- Creating an engaging and stimulating environment between the client and their Comfort Keeper.
- Studies have shown, keeping seniors mentally and emotionally engaged in everyday life is as, if not more important, than their physical care. Although physical ability is important…there is a connection between physical and mental/emotional wellbeing.
