Meet Our Comfort Keepers®

Comfort Keepers are the compassionate people who deliver Comfort Keepers’ premier brand of in-home caregiving. They enrich the lives of seniors and other adults as they help them live safely, happily and independently in the comfort of their own homes.

Comfort Keepers are professional and well trained. What truly sets them above other in-home caregivers, however, is their natural gift for caring for others. They have a heart for caregiving—and Comfort Keepers has a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify them from those less devoted.

Only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of care—and become Comfort Keepers. Our Comfort Keepers also pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. Also, they’re bonded, insured and covered by Workers' Compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families—and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes.

We have been serving the Southeast Missouri area since 2000 and have expanded to include Private Pay services, Veterans and surviving spouse of Veterans benefit services, Long Term Care Insurance benefit services, Missouri Medicaid and Missouri Consumer Direct Services. We have grown by providing comforting solutions for in home care including transportation (except for Missouri Medicaid clients).  At Comfort Keepers®, nothing is more important than helping people live full, independent and dignified lives within the comfort of their own homes. We are dedicated to providing interactive based in home care that enriches our clients’ lives and helps them maintain the highest possible level of independent living.  Any or all of Comfort Keeper® services are provided by our contracted Comfort Keepers at a 2 hour minimum or up to 24/7 care, from Ste Genevieve to the Missouri Boot heel.  Rest assured that each and every Comfort Keeper® caregiver is carefully screened, qualified, insured and trained to ensure the best possible level of service and compatibility with our clients.  We pay to have each employee bonded against theft and workman’s comp, in case they would get hurt, doing chores at a client’s home, the client is not liable for the caregiver’s medical bills.  This is a big plus using Comfort Keepers as Homeowners’ insurance does not cover injuries for a paid employee, in a client’s home.  We also provide them with general and professional liability, non-owner auto insurance in transporting clients and replacement caregivers when a caregiver is sick or on vacation.

To achieve the most favorable outcome for each Comfort Keepers client, we carefully match Comfort Keepers and clients whose personalities and interests—as well as skills and needs—mesh well.  This forms the basis of strong, healthful relationships.

Comfort Keepers work as trusted partners with family caregivers to provide their loved ones a complete in-home care solution to promote independent living.
