What other types of training do the caregivers receive?

We spend a great deal of time and effort providing additional training opportunities for our Comfort Keepers. For example, our caregivers receive introductory and ongoing Alzheimer’s and dementia care. They are better prepared to assist clients who are struggling with the complex issues that often are associated with aging. Our Comfort Keepers are additionally trained in a unique program called Interactive Caregiving™. This is our proprietary approach to in-home caregiving. We believe it is vitally important to only hire Comfort Keepers as true employees. This process then enables us to supervise, insure, bond, and cover our employees with Workmans’ compensation.
