About Comfort Keepers^® of Birmingham, Alabama

Central Alabama's Comfort Keepers was  one of the first offices established when the office opened in 1999 in Alabaster, Alabama. In the spring of 2007 the office expanded and began serving more of Jefferson County and the surrounding areas of Birmingham. We moved our office to a more centralized location so that we could hire more effectively. Our office is set up for maximum communication, which includes a large conerence room for meetings and training.

We believe that communication and quality service are the keys to our success. Our caregivers are the lifeblood of this business. We work hard to ensure our employees are treated fairly while providing them needed information, and resources for our clients.  Our hiring process is a lengthy so that we can target the very best employees available to work with your loved ones. Our training includes instruction on how to work with those with alzheimers and demtia. We also instruct our employees on using the correct techniques on positioning and transferring clients. We are also trained on how to care for those who may be on bed rest. Our wide variety of services requires detailed training that we would want for our own family.
