Kris Clum, owner of the Kettering Comfort Keepers office, co-founded Comfort Keepers when she discovered, as a registered nurse, that many of her patients needed—in addition to medical care—assistance with the activities of daily living.

Their children weren’t always available to help, busy with work and their own families. Kris believed that with the help of a reliable, quality in-home care agency these individuals could continue living safely and healthfully in their own homes.

Since then, Comfort Keepers’ success has expanded to more than 550 locations across the U.S. and other countries—including the four Miami Valley/Greater Dayton area Comfort Keepers offices owned and operated by Kris.
