Introducing the Comfort Keepers Memory Care Program!
Comfort Keepers is the first in-home care company to bring the Memory Care Program, which has been used by hundreds of facilities nationwide, into our clients' homes. Call us today at (916) 933-8383 or e-mail us at folsom-roseville@comfortkeepers.com to get started.
How does the program work?
We start with a 2-hour assessment (the RCCT Clock Test) that determines Functioning Range, Level of Comprehension, Functioning Age and Global Deterioration (fall risk).
What does a completed test look like?

After the client replicates the drawing, we score it and then recommend a personalized work program based on the client's interests. Here is an actual Clock Test completed by a client, which indicates left-side damage, thus placing the client at risk for a fall.
What happens next?
The 6-week one-on-one brain stimulation and social program (adminstered by trained facilitators) focuses on activities selected from a library of 36 workbooks. In addition, our facilitators play card games, board games, and puzzles to help keep clients' minds active. We conclude with a second assessment to review results with your family and doctor.
If you're caring for someone at home who has dementia -- or if you suspect that a loved one might be developing signs of dementia -- call us today at (916) 933-8383. Or, send us an e-mail at folsom-roseville@comfortkeepers.com. We can design a caregiving program that will help focus on the skills your loved one has...and not on what was lost. And, the costs of the Memory Care Program might be be paid for by the Veteran's Non-Service (NSC) pension program!
